Three Taverns on Ponce

Three Taverns Brewery partnered with Gentle Works to design its third location, the Ponce Brew Terminal, located within Signal House as part of the broader Ponce City Market redevelopment along Atlanta’s Eastside BeltLine Trail. The project draws together the identity of Three Taverns with the layered history of one of Atlanta’s most storied sites. The design takes inspiration from the sunset gradient of A Night on Ponce IPA—one of Atlanta’s most recognizable and celebrated craft beers—the reflective materiality of brewing equipment, and the industrial character of the historic rail corridor. It also reaches further back, to the mineral spring that gave Ponce de Leon Avenue its name and the pleasure gardens that once surrounded it, where Atlantans gathered in search of recreation and refreshment. From spring to rail line, distribution center to BeltLine, the site has continually evolved while remaining a place of movement, exchange, and gathering. The brewery carries that tradition forward. A stainless-steel bar and elevated serving tanks anchor the center of the space, while custom furnishings and banquettes reinterpret the geometry and material language of the surrounding rail infrastructure. Rich color, reflective surfaces, and carefully crafted details create an atmosphere that captures the energy of an evening along Ponce while remaining deeply rooted in the history of the place.
